Returned from AMiA Winter Conference
posted by Jason · Monday, January 22, 2007

Danielle (and the little one) and I returned recently from the Winter Conference of the Anglican Mission in the Americas (this is a name change from "in America" for those of you keeping up with the developments.) We spent and evening and morning with Danielle's exceedingly gracious aunt and uncle near Orlando, met up with Danielle's cousins Emily and Dawn, and had lunch with her grandmother Smith. That was all before the conference!

One of the exciting things at the conference was the unveiling of a new website that I designed for the National Youth Ministry Leaders. You can take a look at YAMiA.net.

We may post some additional reflections from our time in Jacksonville, Florida in the near future. For now, we appreciate your continued prayers.

News!

Hello dear family and friends!
It has been a long, long time since we have posted anything on this blog. Our apologizes to those of you who haven't given up checking for a posting.
First and foremost, we have wonderful news to share. We are having a baby! The newest Miller is due June 4. Everything is going well. In fact, this was a momentous week. On New Year's Day our little one made his/her presence known by pokes and kicks. It was amazing to feel the baby for the first time! I had to laugh; it felt like the baby was trying to get out already.

Jason's 31st Birthday
Jason and I celebrated his 31 years.
This week was also Jason's thirty first birthday (January 4th). Happy Birthday, Darling! We celebrated with a quiet evening at home, Lasagna for dinner. Much has happened this past year. We have so much to praise our Father for.
Our first Christmas together was wonderful. We had time in the morning to start our own traditions and the evening was spent with my family in Milwaukee. Charissa and Robbie were in town with their daughters, Abigayle and Molly. This was our first time seeing Molly (born in September). Abigayle had lots of fun opening gifts as you can see from the photo.

Erin, Drew and Micah moved back to the Milwaukee area the Friday after Christmas. We are so glad to have them back. Molly and Micah (M and M, as we call them) met for the first time that week.

As you can tell life has been busy! We would love to hear about your busy lives as well... send us an e-mail or add a comment when you get a chance. Much love, Danielle

Happy New Year!

Danielle and I want to wish you all a very happy new year. I am very tired, so I will keep this brief. Danielle and I are planning to post more news today or tomorrow... We have been so blessed in 2006 and you all have been such a part of that. Thank you for your love and prayers.
