Jason and I celebrated the anniversary of our engagement yesterday. I can hardly believe it has been a year (or only a year)! We are grateful for our life together, grateful for what God has given us.
We have been working away on the cottage. Last weekend we focused our efforts on the "war room" (this is Jason's name for our study... it has nothing to do with the two of us fighting, :) everything to do with spiritual warfare. We want this room to be a prayer room as well). We were able to make progress in sorting through lots of papers and we painted the room as well. It looks so much better!
Next weekend (the 24th) I am doing a vocal concert with five of my students. It is called Winter Music and is a benefit concert for orphans. We will send any money made to Compassion International to help feed and educate orphans. If you are interested in attending, the concert is at 7:00 on Saturday in the chapel at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin. There is no cost to attend; free will donations will be accepted.
