Events and opportunities to enjoy
An Overview. Main attractions in the city of Milwaukee.
Old World Wisconsin. A fantastic outdoor living history museum focusing on the 19th and early 20th centuries.
The St. Joan of Arc Chapel. Brought stone by stone from the Rhone River Valley in France where it stood for over five hundred years.
The domes. They are lovely, an opportunity to see many exotic plants.
The Botanical Gardens. The rose garden is a taste of England.
Lake Park. We took our engagement pictures at the Lion Bridge and the North Point Lighthouse. A great spot for romantic walks or rollerblading!
German fest. The City of Fests has yet another. A great place to hear yodeling and eat bratwurst!
Milwaukee Brewers. If you are into baseball this is the place.
The Petit National Ice Center. Check out their public skating hours. Probably the largest rink you will ever ice skate in.
Milwaukee Art Museum. Even if you lack the time to see the rest of the museum you can enter the Calatrava and admire the incredible architecture.
Gallery Night and Day. This is a chance to explore the Third Ward, one of our favorite parts of Milwaukee. Visit the Private Gardener and say "Hello" to our floral designer, Jonathan. :)

Organ Piper Pizza
Trocadero Restaurant. The atmosphere is very European. If the weather is nice, request a seat outside near the fountain.
Chinese food in Milwaukee. Make sure to use the chopsticks!
Third Ward Restaurants. The Third Ward is a historic, eclectic area of Milwaukee. There are many original buildings with fun and funky restaurants and shops. Notice the last restaurant on the list. The Public Market gives an opportunity to sample many different types of food.
Outdoor dining! Lots of options for those who want to take advantage of summer!
Alterra Coffee. Great coffee and chai, fun atmosphere. Visit their lakeside location, it's our favorite.
Mexican food guide. We recommend Taqueria Azteca and their flourless chocolate cake!
Milwaukee's Central Library. A beautiful historic building with many rooms to explore. There is a cute little tea shop where you can drink your tea and read.

Mayfair Mall. Crate and Barrel is here, lots of more upscale shops, try the Wisconsin store for great gifts!
Historic Cedarburg. The Cedar Creek Settlement is full of fun and unique shops, Dime-a-Dance is a favorite! The Cream and Crepe café has fantastic crepes.
Southridge Mall. Another great place to shop, World Market is here.
Downtown Greendale. Lots of cute shops, try Ferch's for the best malts and ice cream.
